Report: Mitsubishi to reveal the last of the Lancer Evo X with a 473hp model

Mitsubishi really is trying to milk the most out of its current Lancer Evo X and word is from CarScoops that the automaker plans to reveal a Concept Final Edition with 473hp at the Tokyo Auto Salon next year.

The model is, as it’s called, is expected to be the last of the breed, which sends the Evo into the pages of history for good as Mitsu still withholds any plans or intentions to produce a successor in the near future.

Besides the upgraded 2.0L turbocharged four with 183hp more than the standard model, thanks to larger intercoolers with bigger intakes for more air flow, a beefed up cooling system and exhaust, the Evo Concept Final Edition gets a special adjustable suspension setup from HKS with Rays forged 19-inch wheels.

Are you going to find yourself missing the Evo when it goes? Let us know in the comments.
