Toyota reveals a new teaser for the 2016 Tacoma, to be revealed in Detroit

Toyota’s making sure we’re all aware to add the next-generation 2016 Tacoma to the big list of debuts at Detroit next year by releasing some teaser images.

The current generation Toyota Tacoma has been around since 2005 and has remained largely unchanged since then. However, despite being in need of a redesign, it’s still a popular vehicle and has been keeping the midsize pickup truck segment alive, along with the Nissan Frontier.

But now, seeing as how General Motors gave a new breath of life to the midsize pickup genre with the new “truck of the year” 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon, Toyota was given a big heads-up and now, it’s their time to show up General Motors. Nissan isn’t that far behind either, but we’re not talking about them right now.

So mark your calendars once again, January 12. Prepare your bodies.
