Report: Next-gen Maserati GranTurismo reportedly confirmed

AutoExpress recently reported to have received confirmation for the next-gen Maserati GranTurismo. It’s due sometime in 2017.

The Maserati GranTurismo will sit above the new Maserati Alfieri as the larger coupe to the midsize offering. But interestingly, word has it that the convertible GranTurismo won’t make it into the new generation, but convertible buyers will be offered the option of an Alfieri convertible.

Power should be supplied by a new twin-turbo 3.8L V8 with around 550bhp while a lesser 3.0L turbo V6 might be offered with 404bhp and in various tunes of 444bhp and up to 513bhp. Rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive are expected to be added into the mix as well.
