Report: Kia’s executive once again hints at production GT
Some rumors have been floating around in the past recently about a new sports coupe, possibly of the luxury kind, made from Kia. And it would be based off of the GT Concept from 2011.
And recently, Australia’s Motoring spoke with Kia’s Soon-Nam Lee, who said the concept’s positive feedback has led the marketing team to approve the R&D for the GT. not much else is known, but the new production GT’s plan is to encourage a more luxurious brand identity in the United States with more powerful engines.
Should all hold to be true, a production launch date in 2018 should happen.
