The Hearst sisters, Road&Track and CARandDRIVER recently learned Ford is doing it big next year at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show.
One of the most talked about arrivals is a new harder version of the bonkers Ford Mustang GT350, the GT350R. Road&Track believes it has the evidence, which makes it apparent that a GT350R is surfacing in Motor City. Expect a long list of upgrades over the already potent GT350R, including aero changes, larger brakes, more power, and sportier appointments all around.
But that’s not all, as R&T also received some scoop on the hotly rumored return of the Ford GT, which has a chance at surfacing at Detroit–that’s big news folks. This car is also rumors to put Ford back into the serious league of motorsports–Le Mans.
In addition to the GT, a replacement Ford F150 Raptor should be on the docket, complete with an all-new aluminum body while Ford’s anticipated Focus RS should also show up at Detroit, stealing a big portion of the spotlight at next year’s show.
