Report: Lexus introducing two new models in Detroit, may be new RX and GS F

WardsAuto seems to have heard through the grapevine that Lexus could be revealing a new RX replacement at Detroit in just a month, after speaking with Lexus’ Group Vice President, Jeff Bracken. But the RX might not be the only new model to show as Bracken did say at least one, possible two, models could be introduced.

Bracken himself didn’t say it could be an RX, but WardsAuto is willing to wager that the new RX is it because it’s one of the oldest models in Lexus’ lineup and thus, is due for a replacement. There’s really not much to bolster this possibility, especially when there isn’t much in the way of spy photos to suggest an impending arrival. But it’s not entirely impossible either.

The other reveal is also as much of a mystery, though some pitch the possibility of it being the long-awaited and rumored GS F to take on the BMW M5 and the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG. That, unlike the RX, has been spotted being tested in various parts and was almost completely undisguised when last seen. So Lexus could definitely be preparing for that.

Either way, Lexus is preparing to have a big presence at Detroit and we can hardly wait to see what they have in store.
