With the untimely death of Paul Walker, millions of fans and thousands of critics are wondering, what’s next for the ultra-popular Fast and Furious movie franchise. Fast and Furious without Paul Walker, being one of the lead actors throughout the series, is like trying to remove Sean Connery from the entirety of James Bond movie history. But like the James Bond franchise, the Fast and Furious series should continue with new actors as well, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The movie outlet spoke with Universal Studios’ Donna Langley, who hinted at the possibility of as many as three additional F&F movies to come.
“Paul is, and always will be, an integral part of the story. But there are many other great characters, and it’s also an opportunity to introduce new characters. I think it’s still a growing franchise,” Langley commented.
