GMC could be expanding its portfolio to become more competitive as a sole automaker rather than a badgineered alternative to Chevrolet SUVs and crossovers.
Edmunds learned GMC may be working on a new Jeep Wrangler competitor, after speaking with Buick-GMC’s vice president, Duncan Aldred. Other addditional models include a range-topper to sit above the Yukon Denali and Yukon XL Denali. But the mystery around this bit is that this could steal sales away from the Cadillac Escalade, and that might be a big no-no.
On the flipside, there are reports of a new entry-level model as well in the subcompact size, most likely to be based off of the Buick Encore.
