Report: Dodge Viper could get a supercharged V10

Chrysler is apparently on a supercharger binge and is interested in equipping the next Viper with one.

Not that the current Viper’s 8.4L V10 isn’t enough, what with, 640hp and 600 lb-ft of torque. According to the Pentastar’s enthusiast site, AllPar, the supercharger could up the final rating to as high as 800bhp. This would help further separate the Viper from its new stablemates, the SRT Hellcat Charger and Challenger.

Nothing is exactly confirmed, other than the is struggling to sell with production ceasing several times this year.
