Report: The Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat to show up at Woodward Dream Cruise
Rumor has it that the highly-anticipated Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat will take a bow at this year’s Woodward Dream Cruise, the biggest gathering for Mopar enthusiasts and owners, featuring some 30,000 cars and participants.
Word comes in via Jalopnik and Road&Track, who heard from Dodge’s CEO, Tim Kuniskis. The model is predicted to be announced on August 12 before the unveiling. The Woodward Dream Cruise begins on August 16th.
Kuniskis did say a new model will be announced on August 12th, but he didn’t specify what it would be–speculation all points to the Charger SRT Hellcat however. The Charger, much like the Challenger, gets the brand’s new 6.2L supercharged HEMI V8 with 707bhp and 650 lb-ft of torque. Should all go through, the Dodge Charger might just be the world’s most powerful sedan ever produced.
