Report: Mercedes-Benz mulling a super-luxo GL SUV?

Australian media reports that Mercedes-Benz might be considering a more luxurious version of the GL-Class to follow in the footsteps of the new S-Class, which is anticipated to receive a larger and touted up version known as the Pullman.

According to Motoring.com, rumor has it that Mercedes-Benz is developing a subdivision to their lineup that could focus entirely on more luxurious versions of its entire lineup, similarly to how the AMG caters to the high-performance side of things.

Following the launch of this anticipated Maybach-esque Pullman S-Class, a GL may follow to compete against the likes of the Range Rover Autobiography and the incoming Bentley SUV crossover.

Not much else is known, so this could be speculation at best.
