The Nissan Cube is dead for the US market after six slow years

Nissan officially announced to AutoBlog that the Nissan Cube will no longer be offered in the US going into the 2015 model year, which shouldn’t be a surprise as not many can be seen running about on the roads.

This past June, Nissan was able to move only 336 Cubes off of dealership lots, a reduction of around 23.8 percent from last year’s figure and this year, only a total of 2,294 were driven off of new Nissan lots. That’s down 30.9 percent from 2013. Let’s also not forget, the Cube is certainly a niche vehicle designed to cater to people with specific tastes.

Nissan of North America’s senior manage for product communications, Dan PAsse, told AutoBlog that the 2014 Cube will continue to be sold, but there are no plans for a future model.
