Report: Audi in the works with a 600hp RS6 Avant Plus…?

Several news outlets report that Audi could be upping their ante in the high-performance estate segment overseas while they continue to taunt us with these power wagons from across the pond.

Only a few super hot wagons are available in the US: the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Estate and the Cadillac CTS-V Sport Wagon, while others like the Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG Shooting Brake, the Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake, and the Audi RS6 Avant continue to be offered only in their domestic continental market across the pond.

Word is that this new Audi RS6 Avant Plus will keep its 4.0L twin-turbo V8, though power is expected to exceed 600hp, which is plenty more than the standard model’s 560hp. It’s very unlikely we’ll see this wagon here…Oh Audi, why must thee do this to us?
