Report: A BMW M4 Gran Coupe ain’t gonna happen
Australian media is at it again. After apparently speaking with BMW M’s GmbH’s Jorg Bartels, word is that BMW is not interested in producing an M4 Gran Coupe, though it was considered.

The reason is that the company doesn’t expect the car to be a hot cake in the sales department and not to mention, it could steal sales away from the normal M4 and M3 models. Additionally, Bartels also said that the 4-Series Gran Coupe is built in a completely different factory than the M3 and M4 and the costs to accommodate an M4 Gran Coupe don’t justify itself as a business plan.
