Buick’s 2015 Verano continues the manual after all

Buick recently detailed the slightly updated 2015 Verano and according to their press release, they led us to believe that the manual was dropped after failing to mention it.

Though after a recent follow-up with AutoBlog, Buick has confirmed with the outlet that the manual is still an option. It still has six forward gears and it was their mistake for not mentioning it in the press release.

While it may still be a bit awkward to imagine a manual-rower in a Buick, it’s proof that the brand is trying extra hard to appeal to younger buyers. Their cars certainly speak for themselves–though reorganizing a brand-identity is one of the hardest challenges of them all in the consumer world. Either way, props to Buick for the attempts.
