Report: Mini’s Superleggera concept may actually reach production

According to a new report from AutomotiveNews, word is that the Mini Superleggera Vision Concept may actually be put into production after its debut and reception at the 2014 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este.

After speaking with Mini’s boss, Peter Schwarzenbauer, AN learned that reception was positive enough to possibly produce the concept in limited numbers. Though he did note, the production model will not be cheap. Additionally, it is currently too early to tell whether the production model (should it be approved) will use an electric powerplant or a traditional internal combustion engine.

Do you think the Mini Superleggera Vision Concept is worthy of production?
