Spy Shots: Could Bentley be making an even faster Continental GT V8?

CarPix has apparently stumbled upon a new Continental GT V8 test-mule on the Nurburgring, hinting at what could be an even faster Continental GT V8. Not too long ago, Bentley introduced a Continental GT V8 with a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 to make the car more affordable for greater sales.

Following the GT V8 came the GT V8 S with even more power, rated close to the Continental W12’s 567hp, at 521hp. That said, Bentley does have to take caution as to not make the V8 nearly as powerful as the W12 as that would simply steal sales away from the 12-cylinder model.

As a result, it wouldn’t be unreasonable to suspect a lightweight high-performance version with lots and lots of carbon bits.

Either way, only time will tell.
