Report: Land Rover mulling an ultra-luxury model above Autobiography
Land Rover may be dipping their toes into the ultra-luxury crossover SUV market, according to IndianAutosBlog, suggesting that Land Rover may be interested in producing a model to compete against Bentley’s recently rumored luxury SUV.
The brand’s current design chief, Gerry McGovern, reportedly said the range-topping model will sit above the Range Rover Autobiography. Currently, the most expensive Range Rover is the long-wheelbase Autobiography Black version, starting at $199,500. The new model on the other hand could exceed this price, well above the $200,000 mark.
McGovern also confirmed that a Range Rover Sport RS is also in the works, with a 5.0L 543hp V8.
