The specs are out on the 2015 Audi TT
Don’t get too excited, this is for the US market model, which will not get the redesign just yet. The changes are largely incremental for Audi’s quick-selling aluminum sports car. Fitted with over the top quad exhaust outlets, a spoiler, special paint, seats and wheels, Audi is offering up a TTS competition package on their 265-horsepower model. 0-60 still happens in 4.9 seconds and the engine is still a two-liter, direct injected four.
The standard car now gets heated seats as standard, 5 spoke alloys, and, as per the usual, the love ’em or hate ’em LED daytime running lights. Power still comes from a detuned version of the engine in the TTS coupe and convertible; this amounts to 211 horsepower and 258 ft lbs of torque, the latter being the same as the TTS. A leather covered black roll bar is also an option. Feel free to check out the brief press release after the jump.

Performance
Known for its incredible performance and efficiency, the 2015 Audi TT Coupe and Roadster are powered by the award-winning 2.0-liter TFSI® turbocharged and direct-injected, four cylinder engine. This motor also combines Audi valvelift system and variable valve timing. The TT Coupe and Roadster produce 211 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque and propel from 0-60 MPH in 5.3 seconds and 5.6 seconds respectively. The high-performance Audi TTS Coupe and Roadster – also powered by the 2.0-liter TFSI® turbocharged and direct-injected, four cylinder engine – achieves 265 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. The TTS Coupe accelerates from 0-60 MPH in 4.9 seconds, while the Roadster completes the sprint in 5.1 seconds.
All TT and TTS models are fitted with a six-speed S tronic® dual-clutch automatic transmission – a revolutionary direct shift gearbox that blends the user-friendliness of an automatic with the performance of a manual – and both models come standard with quattro® all-wheel drive for superior traction and handling.
For the 2015 Model Year, the Audi TTS has a new optional Competition Package, which includes: new exterior paint in Imola Yellow or Nimbus Gray, Fixed rear spoiler, 5-arm-Rotor wheels with silver finish, Baseball Optic leather seats w/ Imola yellow accents and contrast stitching.
Audi magnetic ride is standard on the TTS Coupe and TTS Roadster; instead of conventional damper oil, the shocks are filled with a special fluid, where viscosity can be controlled by an electromagnetic field. Audi magnetic ride suspension harnesses the fluid’s electromagnetic properties to help deliver the appropriate damping forces. Audi magnetic ride operates in normal or sport mode for a more agile and sporty driving experience.
The TT and TTS are built with ASF® construction, a high-strength aluminum frame structure into which the panels are integrated so that they also perform a load-bearing function. The aluminum body is characterized by exceptional stiffness and substantially lower weight for better performance, efficiency and handling.
