Report: Jeep CEO tells AutoCar, larger Jeep could be in the works

Following a recent report surrounding the possible reviving of the Grand Wagoneer as a flagship crossover, AutoCar in the UK reports that Jeep’s CEO, Mike Manley, also revealed that a flagship is on the way to replace the defunct Commander.

This could bolster previous reports of the Grand Wagoneer return. Manley specifically said that a model will sit above the Grand Cherokee and that there is a marketing opportunity, especially in the US, China and the Middle East.

Not much else was said, other than it won’t be offered in Europe due to its size.
