Report: Lotus might actually produce the Esprit

Lotus has had it rough over the past years from an abusive CEO, who was eventually fired. As a result, many of their highly-anticipated projects, such as a new Esprit, were brought to a halt.

However, a new report from Motoring states that Lotus may actually be getting back on track, hopefully to produce said Esprit.

The outlet had an interview with Lotus’ brand manager of Australia and New Zealand, who said that the return of an Esprit has a very strong case. Though he cannot go into detail.

Lotus has remained very quiet with its Esprit. The last that was heard, a new V8 for the Esprit, expected to produce at least 470hp.
