Report: Ferrari sold less cars last year, posted higher earnings

A report is in from AutomotiveNews of Europe, who learned about Ferrari’s recent financial reports, which interestingly found that the brand sold less cars last year, but ironically, made more money.

Ferrari’s CEO recently announced intentions to become “a more exclusive brand,” by limiting production figures to 7,000 units per year. Only 6,922 units were sold in 2013, a five percent decrease from 2012.

Despite the decrease in production, Ferrari posted a five percent increase in revenue last year, posting a record 2.3 billion euro in annual income.
