Report: The next generation 2016 Chrysler Town & Country to feature radical styling

AutomotiveNews reports that Chrysler is trying to revolutionize minivan styling with the all-new, next generation 2016 Town & Country minivan.

According to the report, the new model will be built in Windsor, Canada, much like the current model. Though for the new generation, the Caravan won’t be a Siamese twin to the Town & Country.

Instead, the Caravan will be less minivan like, while the Town & Country will apparently take cues from the recent 700C Concept, which debuted in the 2012 North American International Auto Show.

“We’re trying to push the envelope and not disturb what’s good about the minivan,” said Ralph Gilles, Dodge’s current head of design.

Not much else is known, except for the expected carryover of Chrysler’s 3.6L Pentastar V6. It would also be nice to see Fiat’s EcoDiesel under the hood as well. Keep your fingers crossed.
