Report: 2016 Maserati Alfieri/GranTurismo leaked ahead of Geneva Debut

There’s not a whole lot to say other than this is a very attractive alternative to the Porsche 911 and Jaguar F-Type crowd. This is likely the GranTurismo successor that we’ve been looking for in the past. Based on the same platform underpinning the Maserati Ghibli and Quattroporte sedan, the Alfieri, as previously suggested will likely come with the option of a ‘six putting out 410 horsepower and an ‘eight putting out 530 horsepower.

Not shockingly, the car comes with LED headlights (no pun intended) because nearly every automaker is drinking that Kool-Aid lately. The name on the concept car says “Alfieri”,but don’t be fooled, Maserati will likely play it conservative and retain the GranTurismo name for the coupe as well as the GranCabrio name for the convertible version.
