Toyota teases some new TRD Pro variants to their 4×4 models

Toyota released some new teasers with a picture of what appears to be a TRD’ed 4RUNNER and a video of the Tacoma and Tundra versions. This is indicative of the introduction of some new models, specifically some factory-decked 4×4 models for the off-road enthusiasts.

Automakers are starting to produce their own “performance” lines, which have been branded to be aimed towards the more enthusiastic driver–in this case, the lover of the stellar reputation of Toyota’s off-roading prowess.

Though of course, full details have yet to be disclosed. The TRD Pro models are expected to debut at the Chicago Auto Show later this week. So stay tuned!
