Report: GMC to make an actual vehicle by themselves

Insane though it may seem, plans may be afoot for GMC to offer a model that is not simply a slightly more luxurious and rebadged Chevrolet. GM’s Executive Vice President of Global Product Development, Mark Reuss, asserted that the brand will offer a “standalone model.”

After many years of barely reinventing the LT or LTZ version of most of Chevy’s lineup, it will most certainly be interesting what form this vehicle comes in. Naturally it will also be interesting to see how much of it is actually unique and not recycled parts from another GMC, i.e. another Chevrolet.
