Report: BMW and Toyota finally agree on sports car platform amidst joint ventures

Following a number of rumors and reports collectively reporting on the progress of a new midsize sports coupe that’s supposed to amount from BMW’s alliance with Toyota (1, 2, 3, 4), word is through AutomotiveNews that a platform has finally been agreed upon.

The original report comes from Germany’s Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, saying that an agreement has been reached.

Not much else is known, other than the rumors that could suggest this new sports car could revive the famous Toyota Supra sports coupe.
