Cadillac launches mini-configurator for 2015 Escalade, reveals some features
Cadillac has unleashed their online configurator for the redesigned 2015 Escalade SUV and adds standard luxury features. Gone is the need to pay for which seats are heated and cooled: the receive this treatment and the rear seats and steering wheel are heated. Magnetic ride control, LED headlamps and taillights are fitted as standard along with a 420 bhp 6.2-liter V8 mated to a six-speed auto ‘box to the rear wheels. All wheel drive is an extra cost option for all trim levels. Also included in the standard features is the CUE infotainment system, a 12-inch reconfigurable instrument cluster, 20-inch alloys, power operated tilt and telescoping steering wheel and third row seats.

For extra outlay, the creatively-named “Luxury” trim level adds a full color head up display, sunroof, 22 inch wheels, a driver awareness package with lane departure and other idiot-light and control mitigation features, power release fold and tumble second row seats, and Intelli Beam headlights. For even more spendy examples, the following are included: adaptive cruise control, front and rear automatic braking, a 9-inch ceiling-mounted rear entertainment screen, illuminated exterior door handles, and automatic collision preparation, whatever that is.
For those interested, the colors are also available, they are white, dark purple, black, nearly black but more grey like, actually grey/silver, and red.
