Report: Tesla planning a pickup model to compete with Ford F150

Elon Musk continues to be aggressive with his business strategies and product planning. To add to the fiasco, Musk apparently confirmed to be planning a new pickup to add to Tesla Motors’ portfolio.

Buisiness Insider recently spoke with the CEO, who claimed the model could go directly against the Ford F150.

Specifics were obviously withheld, though Musk noted that Tesla will focus on the consumer truck level rather than the commercial truck side of the industry since demand is higher. For instance, the Ford F150 is still the most popular pickup in America and the America’s best selling vehicle.
