AutoBlog learned that Tesla’s new and incoming Model X crossover will be offered in all-wheel drive only.
Originally, the electric SUV was said to be offered in both all- and rear-wheel drive. But due to concerns with pricing, the change to offer only one drivetrain has been decided.
The Model X is still heavy in its research and development phases and isn’t expected to unveil a production prototype until 2014.
