Report: German automobile makers apparently expressing interest in purchasing Nurburgring

Word in the pipeline via Reuters is that Germany’s infamous Nurburgring could be gaining interest from Germany automobile manufacturers as the world-renowned race track struggle to stay afloat amidst corporate mismanagement.

According to the report, Daimler, BMW, and Volkswagen Group all have expressed interested in purchasing the Nurburgring as a test track. As if they don’t use it regularly enough already.

The Nurburgring has been battling corporate mismanagement as ownership has changed significantly, but with none of the investments paying off. This very well could be the last hope for the Nurburgring as it defies bankruptcy.
