AutoCarUK recently sat down with the Honda/Acura NSX’s development chief, Ted Klaus. And in a quick interview, Klaus openly described the incoming NSX—a car we’ve been holding out for eagerly—as a sports car that will offer “Ferrari 458 excitement at a Porsche 911 price.”

“We’re looking for the excitement of the 458 at the price of the 911, and we think the hybrid technology can help us achieve that,” he commented.
This shouldn’t be that outlandish of a claim since the first and original NSX was a very capable car, with many critically calling it as one of the best handling mid-engined sports cars in history.
The Acura/Honda NSX is expected to be due in 2015 in production form, ready for sale.
