It will be the fifth model based off of Daimler’s new copact front-wheel drive modular platform next to the A- and B-Class, as well as the CLA sedan and the GLA crossover. As of now, the CLA sedan is the only model coming stateside in the near future. The B-Class is expected to follow in electric form, as will the GLA, but not until next year.

The CLA Shooting Brake as of now is not scheduled to come stateside.
