Report: Kia to proceed with GT Coupe, to reach showrooms by 2016
Kia has been rumored to be in the works with a new flagship coupe with either two or four doors. That said, a new report has apparently surfaced, suggesting this Kia “GT” coupe will hit showrooms in 2016.

A concept was originally revealed at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, though within the new development, word is the GT will be front-wheel driven.
“We have plans to build a GT – we spoke about it at our global marketing conference in Singapore,” said Soon-Nam Lee, Kia’s vice president for overseas marketing. “We’ll be mainly targeting the end of 2016 or early 2017.”
