Report: Chrysler finally begins shipping 2014 Jeep Cherokee after launch issues
Amidst delays with the launch of the all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee, TheDetroitNews confidently reports that Chrysler has officially begun shipping examples to dealers this Tuesday. Many view this SUV to be an edge-cutting last resort in bids to help Chrysler fully recover from damaged profit margins from a tumultuous past.

Now, the real test for success kicks off; as the Cherokee’s launch issues have apparently been solved. The most notable issue was a programming fault with the ZF-sourced nine-speed automatic, which had issues cooperating with the Cherokee’s Fiat-sourced Tigershark four-banger.
The compact crossover has analysts calling it the fastest growing segment in the US as buyers seek for the one-for-all vehicle in the strangled economy. As a result, Jeep seeks to get a piece of this CUV pie.
