Report: Subaru will officially axe Tribeca in Jan. 2014, replacement is due

Subaru will be axing the Tribeca in January 2014 as the model run comes to a close. Built in Lafayette, Indiana, the Tribeca was first launched in 2005 and has since been on the market for eight years.

Over 78,000 units have been sold, even after the model underwent a mid-cycle refresh and update, which didn’t exactly do much for the slow selling crossover.

Subaru is already in the mix with a replacement, which will be classified as a midsize SUV crossover. It will have three rows and should be revealed sometime in 2014.
