Photo Rendering: Is this what the new 2015 Ford Mustang could look like?

Ford is on the path to revealing their next generation Mustang sports car, which is under heavy watch by both enthusiasts and automobile lovers alike. There has been a lot of speculation floating around, with Mustang gurus fearing that Ford could be botching up their halo car by offering it with a four-cylinder engine and by changing its appearance too much to the point of dilution.

Such a move harks back to the old “fox body” Mustangs, which were powered by lethargic four-cylinder engines in lieu of the 1970s Fuel Crisis, tainting the brand’s image. However, things are looking positive now as time gets closer to the 2015 Ford Mustang’s reveal. And not to mention, Ford is serious about what choices they make for the new model as the 2015 model year will be celebrating the Mustang’s first 50 years in existence.

That said, some new renderings have popped up, which could provide a much more clear glimpse as to what to expect, visually, for the new Mustang. Power options are said to range from a 2.3L EcoBoost four-banger, good for 350hp, to the brand’s venerable 5.0L Modular V8, good for 450hp.
