Report: Land Rover LR2 replacement due in 2015 after new discovery, Range Rover getting two variants

Land Rover has been hard at work revamping its lineup for the new generation. It first started with the Range Rover Evoque, then the full-size Range Rover flagship. Then, the Range Rover Sport was just recently introduced for the new generation. Next on the list is the Discovery 4/LR4 and Freelander/LR2 replacements.

The Freelander/LR2 replacement has been internally dubbed the L550 and will follow the new Discovery in 2015. Speaking of which, the new Discovery is expected to debut in the first half of 2014 with the distinct possibility of it occurring at the Geneva Motor Show. The full production version would then supposedly follow at the 2014 Paris auto show.

Also in the pipeline are two new supposed Range Rover variantsβ€”one being an ultra-luxury variant and the other, a long-wheel base version, due at Los Angeles next month.
