Volvo recently shocked the world with its gorgeous spiritual P1800 sports coupe successor, the 2013 Volvo Concept Coupe, at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show. And a new report has just surfaced from Germany’s Autobild.de, who claims the Swedisih automaker may put the coupe into production in limited numbers.

The 2013 Volvo Concept Coupe is powered by a plug-in hybrid powertrain consisting of a turbocharged and supercharged 2.0L four-cylinder mated to a rear-mounted electric drive motor, for a combined output of 400hp and 490 lb-ft of torque.
And due to the positive press, Volvo may very will be convinced to build it with the help of Italian coachbuilder, Bertone.
