Chevrolet confirms new 2015 Tahoe and Suburban to debut next week

Chevrolet released a teaser on their Facebook page hinting that the next generation Tahoe and Suburban will be revealed on Thursday, September 12 of this year. The current American full-size leviathans have been with us since 2007 and have endured years of strong and steady sales.

That said, the completion of nearly eight years in terms of a production cycle means the new model should ideally be completely new. Not much is known about the two, but for any indicators as for what to expect aesthetically, you could probably get a hint or two by looking at the latest Chevrolet Silverado.

Because the Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban are due soon, completely new GMC Yukon and Yukon XLs should follow, along with a redesigned Cadillac Escalade.

The teaser points out that the new Tahoe and Suburban will be sold as 2015 model year vehicles, so expect a product launch sometime in 2014 as well as some exposure time at some of the up and coming North American auto expositions.
