Report: Cadillac’s supposed ATS-V to utilize the brand’s latest Twin Turbo V6, complete with a manual

CARandDRIVER had a field day at Pebble Beach getting the scoop on some new automotive details for the future. And out of that scoop, it was learned that Cadillac will most likely using Cadillac’s latest Twin-Turbo V6—the one that debuted on the all-new 2014 Cadillac CTS Vsport sedan—as the powerplant for the much-anticipated and highly-postulated ATS-V high-performance BMW M3 sedan competitor.

And while rumors point to the BMW M3 and M4 possibly being sold without a manual transmission, Cadillac is apparently sticking to the idea of engaging driving fun by offering a manual rower with that epic new twin-turbo sixer.

No specifics were shared regarding the ATS-V’s and ever since the rumors began piling in, an ATS-V has since been up in the air in terms of confirmation.
