Nissan teases the 2014 Rogue crossover before Frankfurt

Nissan released a teaser for it’s entirely reworked Rogue compact crossover for the 2014 model year. Set for a worldwide debut at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, the new Rogue will most likely take up Nissan’s latest design language, which can be seen on the current Sentra, Pathfinder, Maxima and Altima. If anything, you can bet on it looking like a mini-me Pathfinder.

Although this is a European debut and the Rogue is sold in foreign markets, other than ours and under different names, the current generation model has been with us since 2008. Six years later, you can definitely bet that  a completely redesigned model is due.

Powertrain options are still unconfirmed, but it wouldn’t be unreasonable to expect an updated version of Nissan’s current 2.5L four-banger good for 182hp and 180 lb-ft of torque.
