Honda reportedly confirmed an agreement with Guangzhou Automobile Group Co. last Thursday saying the two companies came to a cooperative production agreement. The first model to be built upon this agreement is Acura’s anticipated production crossover SUV based on the recent Acura SUV-X Concept, which debuted this past April at the Shanghai Auto Show. It will be produced at the new China-based plant for three years following the reveal.
