Report: Land Rover in the process of attempting to approve Range Rover Evoque Convertible
CarAdvice.com of Australia reports that Land Rover is possibly gearing up to give a convertible version of the Range Rover Evoque a greenlight, after speaking with Land Rover executives at a press conference.
So far, Edwards seemed to express confidence in the success of the Evoque to date, which is sold in three and five-door form. Though more importantly, Edwards openly expressed that he wants a Range Rover Evoque Convertible to take form.
It is a bit of an interesting concept, but it isn’t by any stretch of means a new idea since the ill-fated Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet. And even then, Nissan has very little success with the Murano CrossCabriolet, so we’re sort of stuck wondering, what the heck does Land Rover see in this not-so-popular niche segment?
