Report: Buick to possibly introduce a new crossover named the Anthem, to sit in between Enclave and Encore

GMInsideNews.com reports General Motors is having Buick release a crossover called the “Anthem” that will apparently sit in between the Enclave and the Encore. This speculation comes after several spy photos of what could be a newly developed Buick crossover.

The new crossover is supposedly built off of GM’s new global Delta compact architecture, hinting that a midsized or compact crossover is in the works because you have the Enclave taking care of the full-size segment while the Encore participates in the compact segment. That said, a midsized crossover makes sense as it would most likely help Buick better compete against the likes of the Lexus RX.

Production is anticipated to begin sometime in mid-2014 with a launch as a 2015 model in both China’s and North America’s market.
