Video: 2014 Porsche 911 GT3 gets another video to showcase some more tech highlights

Porsche recently released a new video of their latest 911 GT3 super track monster that highlights some of the most marveling technical bits of the 2014 Porsche 911 GT3, such as the Active Engine Mounts.

As a refresher, the 2014 Porsche 911 GT3 is based on the current Type 991 generation 911 Carrera, except it’s been stripped down and upgraded to churn out some serious track figures and performance times.

That all comes partially thanks to Porsche’s standard 3.8L flat-six good for 475hp and 324 lb-ft through natural aspiration. It’s mated only (and controversially) to the brand’s patented PDK dual-clutch seven-speed auto. The result is a 0-62 time of 3.5 seconds for a top speed of 195mph.

A lap of the Nurburgring zooms by in just 7 minutes and 30 seconds.

For the video, check it out after the jump.
