Report: Some details leaked regarding 2014 Toyota Corolla through posting of the ordering guide
CARandDRIVER reports that Toyota has just posted its order guide for the all-new up and coming Corolla compact sedan, which has led to the revealing of some more details.
As of now, it appears that the next generation Corolla will indeed be heavily inspired by the 2013 Furia Concept that debuted earlier this year in Detroit, though will more so be a mesh between the concept and the current Camry.

The mechanicals get updated as well, despite the fact that the same 1.8L four-banger carries over, Toyota’s new Valvematic continuously variable valve timing and lift system gets fitted. The supposed result is a bump from the outgoing Corolla’s 132hp and 128 lb-ft of torque. Base models will still get a robust four-speed automatic, though the manual will have six forward slots, while top end automatic models will receive a CVT.
