Video: Watch Tiff Needell figure out how the all-new 2013 Jaguar F-Type S fares against its direct rival, the 2013 Porsche 911 Cabriolet

Trying to queue up some viewing material for your lunch hour today? Well don’t you worry, as Tiff Needell jumps on board with evo Magazine from the UK. The task at hand, to test how the all-new 2014 Jaguar F-Type stacks up against the F-Type’s primary target, the current generation Porsche 911.

Now this should be a given, but expect a lovely dollop of Tiff’s fancy driving as he seeks to find out whether Jaguar have accomplished their goal.

The 2013 Porsche 911 cabriolet is used as the running mate, complete with Porsche’s venerable 3.4L boxer-six good for 350hp mated to the world’s first seven-speed manual transmission. The 2014 Jaguar F-Type competing against the iconic German sports car dons Jaguar-Land Rover’s latest 3.0L supercharged V6 good for 380hp, though which is channeled through an eight-speed automatic. That does hamper the Jaguar a bit in the weight department when compared to the Porsche.

But either way, it’s up to you to see what Tiff thinks.
