A Dutch auto magazine reports that Spyker has been quietly working in the shadows as the rest of the auto world mumbles about. Word is that the small luxury sports car maker has been in the midst of forming a Porsche 911 rival for this year’s Geneva Motor Show.

However, as expected, details are sparse. But Spyker’s CEO Victor Muller promises, “it will surprise you.” Additionally, he said it will be smaller and cheaper than the flagship C8 Aileron.

No word on power either. But now that Saab is out of Spyker’s picture, it appears Spyker wants to become more of a mainstream player. It’ll be interesting to see what’s up their sleeve nonetheless.
