At the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, BMW is expanding the 6th generation BMW 3 Series Sedan lineup with the addition of the new BMW 320i. The model is on sale now with a starting price tag of $33,445 for the rear-wheel-drive base model and $33,445 for the all-wheel-drive model.
Power comes from a 2.0 liter TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder engine making 180 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 200 lb-ft of torque from 1,250 rpm – 4,500 rpm. Mated to an 8-speed automatic, 0 to 60 mph comes in 7.1 seconds with a top speed of 130 mph.
Fuel-economy wise, the new 2013 BMW 320i Sedan averages 22/34 mpg (city/highway) with a 6-speed manual and 23/33 mpg with the 8-speed automatic.
